CamperKing is the UK’s leading Volkswagen campervan converter. Renowned for craftsmanship, innovation, and adventure-ready design, they had built a strong reputation among loyal customers. But their digital presence no longer reflected their position as market leader.

 

Like many growing brands, they faced the challenge of translating offline success into measurable digital growth. Fragmented campaigns, unclear reporting, and outdated web design had begun to limit performance and ROI visibility –  issues we often see among marketing teams stretched thin between delivery and strategy.

- The challenge
Despite their success offline, CamperKing’s digital landscape lacked cohesion. Their website struggled to communicate the premium quality and lifestyle appeal of their campervans, and fragmented marketing activity meant performance was inconsistent.

They needed:

  • A full brand refresh to modernise their visual identity and messaging.
  • A website rebuild that improved UX, conversion flow, and consistency across devices.
  • A unified digital strategy connecting SEO, paid media, and social to brand storytelling and lead generation.
  • Clear reporting frameworks to measure ROI and track dealer-level leads.

– Our approach

 

We began with a deep discovery process, including customer interviews, market analysis, and competitor audits, to understand where growth had plateaued and how digital could better reflect the brand’s value.

The insights shaped a data-led brand and content strategy designed to align every touchpoint with the CamperKing experience of confidence, warmth, and adventure, while also giving leadership clarity on ROI and performance.

 

From there, we delivered a complete digital transformation in three key stages:

 

01 Brand refresh
  • Created a new visual identity, logo, and colour palette to modernise the brand while preserving its recognisable heritage.
  • Developed a comprehensive Brand Playbook, covering tone of voice, photography, design application, and dealer consistency.
  • Introduced the new tagline, “Driven by Adventure”, anchoring the brand in emotion and aspiration.
02 Website rebuild
  • Fully rebuilt the CamperKing website from the ground up, optimising for speed, UX, and SEO.
  • Streamlined navigation around audience needs based on unique insights from customer interviews.
  • Integrated tools like a finance calculator, lead-tracking dashboard, and dealer network pages.
  • Implemented a Looker Studio dashboard for real-time performance data. 
03 Multi-channel marketing strategy
  • Designed an integrated SEO, PPC, and Paid Social framework to reach audiences across the funnel.
  • Developed a Hero–Hub–Hygiene content strategy, led by flagship creative campaigns and supported by key pages relating to high-intent search terms.
  • Built audience-led remarketing and first-party data campaigns to nurture conversions.

The results

CamperKing’s collaboration with our team has evolved into a long-term partnership covering brand, digital, creative, and performance marketing.

Since the rebrand and relaunch, CamperKing has achieved improved performance across every digital channel. As well as this, the refreshed CamperKing brand now runs consistently across the website, social channels, and dealerships, guided by the new Digital Playbook. Its lifestyle-led tone and photography have strengthened CamperKing’s position as the leading name in VW campervan conversions.

For example, in Q3 of 2025 alone, we achieved:
