Our Beginnings
Now celebrating NINE YEARS of Bamboo Nine!
We were born on July 3rd 2014 as a two-man band in a small rented room next to Preston Park train station.
Fast forward to today, we’re proudly situated in the heart of Brighton filling the top floor office as a fifty nine-member orchestra.

Our History
Our story is unique.
We set up Bamboo Nine after growing frustrated with working for agencies who rely on smoke, mirrors and jargon to win and retain new business.
Their lack of passion or concern for the clientsâ best interests never sat right with us.
So, we put our money where our mouth is and decided to do something about it.

About Us
The first question clients ask is:
âWhy call yourselves Bamboo Nine?â
So, letâs clear this up! Bamboo is an organic, natural plant. It is strong, flexible and trusted for many things. We didnât want to pretend to be something we are not. We want to be organic in our own growth and be a brand people can rely on. The ânineâ came from the fact we initially offered 9 services. A more tenuous link, but one we are claiming, is our initials are, therefore âBN’, as is our postcode.
We are different, but youâve heard this all before?
Winning the trust of a new client is difficult enough, so the least an agency can do is fight tooth and nail to keep their business. This is what spurred us on. Not just to talk a good game but to deliver one.
We set up Bamboo Nine because we believe we can be better as people first, and an agency second. We could be more transparent, we could be more collaborative, we could be more engaged.
So, we decided to do so.

Our success can be attributed to four things â our people, our clients, our hard work and our passion. Once a business becomes a client of ours, we do everything in our power to make sure their campaigns are a success. This means not only do we need experienced and skilled people but these people also need to be committed and engaged to be the best they can be.
Client relationships.
Client relationships are at the forefront of what we do and going the extra mile is second nature to us. We keep our word. We operate on a rolling contract basis. Our clients stay with us because we meet their needs, on a financial and human level. We donât want to tie anyone down to a contract if we are not delivering on your ROI or on our service.
This is who we are
Each and every one of our clients own their accounts and therefore, all their own data. They also pay the publisher (Google, Bing, Facebook etc) direct, meaning that, unlike most agencies, we donât take a margin on the spend. We are not a âmiddle personâ.
If you pay the publisher direct, you can rest assured that every penny you invest is going towards your advertising and not our pockets.
Lastly, our bespoke reporting continues to justify our management fee. We break down every hour spent working on your behalf, so you know where your fees have been invested. We donât just report on what has happened, we take the time to explain âwhyâ. This shows accountability.
